He first met the small team behind the museum while studying computer science at EPFL. He initially joined the Friends of the Mus\u00e9e Bolo association and became its President in 2007.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;168456&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h4>Alwin Dieperink<\/h4>\n<p><em>Computer Science Engineer, EPFL<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He received his first calculator at the age of six and learned to program using punched cards on EPFL\u2019s CDC computers. While still at high school, he discovered the world of SMAKY computers, which he would later work on during his studies at EPFL, where he earned his degree in computer science engineering. For more than 30 years, he has worked at ELCA, where he is currently a database expert. It was there that his path crossed with a certain\u2026 Yves Bolognini.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;180916&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h4>Vincent Keller<\/h4>\n<p><em>PhD in Computer Science<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He earned his Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science from the University of Geneva and his PhD from EPFL in 2008, specializing in HPCN and HPC Grids. His research focused on the analysis of HPC applications, computational grids and clusters, as well as the energy efficiency of large-scale computing ecosystems. Initially a collector, he founded the Mus\u00e9e Bolo in 2002, the first permanent exhibition of its kind in Switzerland. In 2007, he established the M\u00e9moires Informatiques Foundation to preserve a valuable technological heritage and tell the story of the digital revolution, becoming its president. He is the inventor, in the mid-70s, of the Dauphin didactic microcomputer and the Smaky computer series.<\/p>\n<p>He is at the origin of the development of the first mice.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>Daniel Mange<\/h4>\n<p><em>Electrical engineer, <\/em><br \/>\n<em>honorary professor at EPFL.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He was head of the Logic Systems Laboratory (LSL). He is the creator of the concept of magiciel, or transformation technique hardware-software.
