Musée Bolo is freely accessible from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM.
You start with Programmed disappearance, an original and provocative exhibition that tells the story of computer science in a different way
Then you can admire our permanent exhibition, perhaps with a touch of nostalgia, the museum’s flagship products: Swiss microcomputers and mammoth computers, including several Cray computers.
Finally, you’ll discover our latest temporary exhibition, which highlights key artifacts from Swiss computing history — pioneering computers, early digital-era peripherals, and notable local innovations.
The Biowall and Blue Gene/P are usually activated during special events or upon request when registering for a guided tour.

Take part in an educational and enjoyable experience with a guided tour
Tours are led by volunteers from the Musée Bolo. All proceeds from this activity go directly to supporting the museum.
Guided tours can be arranged during the week – on Tuesday or Friday afternoons, or in the evening from Monday to Friday – as well as on weekends.

- Minimum of 15 participants (maximum 25)
- Payment is made at the end of the guided tour (TWINT or cash)

Musée Bolo is located in the INF building of the Faculty of Computer Science & Communications of EPFL.
From the M1 metro
Stop at EPFL. Follow the signage.
From Lausanne station
Bus no. 1 – Stop J.-D. Colladon. Follow the signage.
From Morges station
Bus no. 701 – Parc Scientifique stop.
By car
Parking is available at the Rolex Learning Center.
Green parking spaces are reserved exclusively for EPFL staff on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Outside these hours, these spaces are open to all visitors.
